Terms and Conditions of Service
The team at The Pretty Posy are experienced florists who including our enthusiastic support staff take great pride in our brand. In standing out from our competitors we aim to deliver an experience that exceeds your expectations.
We are however human and despite the best systems, best suppliers and tight scheduling, slip ups happen – when they do and with your understanding we will work together to resolve any mishap.
Quality Guarantee and Price Guarantee
The Pretty Posy uses fresh premium quality flower and associated floral material. We guarantee the flower quality of each posy design with posys hand made by professional and industry qualified florists.
The price of your order is inclusive of all flowers, product content and delivery.
Designs
Posy arrangements contain natural products and being handmade some minor variation may result in the final individual items produced – this includes flowering buds.
Orders and Safe Delivery
The sender is responsible for the order details including the accuracy of recipient contact phone numbers, street addresses and delivery instructions. Special delivery instructions may be required to fulfill orders to some destinations such as hospitals, special events such as funerals or apartment blocks, gated communities, schools or remote locations such as the Bay Islands.
An order for delivery to any of the Bay Islands is not accepted unless confirmed by email by The Pretty Posy and upon payment of any additional delivery charges including water taxi services.
Deliveries to the Bay islands must be collected from the wharf.
Orders are only accepted for delivery within the declared delivery areas.
Any order placed for a delivery outside the delivery area will not be possible.
Where a sender mistakenly places orders for delivery outside the delivery area and a refund is required we will refund to your nominated bank account once the original payment has been confirmed by the paying bank. A processing fee of 10% of the order value applies. This fee helps recover direct costs incurred along with any spoiled product.
In cases where a delivery is unsuccessful due to the wrong details being advised the sender can advise new details and a re-delivery will be made the next available working day.
Re-deliveries attract a re-delivery fee of $10.00
Delivery will be made on the specified date including same day orders when the order is made within the daily cut off times
We do not accept timed delivery requests however where a preferred time is nominated and where delivery runs permit we will attempt to meet the request wherever possible.
Disputes
The Pretty Posy has a dispute resolution policy and we will work with you in reviewing and understanding the issue.
The Pretty Posy must be advised immediately and no later than 24 hours of delivery to the recipient. When you make a complaint TPP will respond to you within 4 business hours of receipt.
In resolving a dispute The Pretty Posy reserves the right to inspect the product for quality purposes and replace or repair.
The Pretty Posy does not refund.
Delivery policy when the recipient is not at home to accept your order
Unless advised to the contrary. In situations where the recipient is not at home to accept your gift, our courier will leave the gift in a safe location at the delivery address.
Where appropriate and no safe options exist at the address, we may leave with a neighbor (leaving a calling card advice to the recipient).
Where a safe location can’t be found, or access can’t be obtained (such as a gated community) we will leave a calling card in the recipient’s letter box or at their front door advising them to contact The Pretty Posy to make other arrangements.
A 2nd delivery can be arranged for the next available delivery day inclusive of a re-delivery fee of $10.00.
